Can I change my plan ?
Absolutely. Legal issues can be fluid, and you are welcome to switch your plan to You Do It (we help) or We Help You at any time. We’re here to help if your plan changes. If you’d like to switch from to the other at any time, reach out using the contact form or email us directly and we’ll make the necessary adjustments for you.
What can I expect with You Do it (we help)?
The You Do It (we help) plan is still very much a DIY option – but if you have questions, clarifications, or ‘where do I go from here’ queries, we can help you along and point you in the right direction. It does not constitute legal service whatsoever, but it is valuable. If you require legal advice, we can point you in the right direction.
What other costs are involved?
The standard Court filing fee for an application for a divorce is $940. If you are eligible for a reduction, then the Court filing fee is $310. There is no GST charged on Court filing fees. Please be aware that if you are making a joint application for divorce, you and your former spouse will both need to both be eligible for the reduction.
